When your muscles are not receiving enough blood, the muscle is also not receiving enough oxygen.
When your muscles lack oxygen they will produce lactic acid.
Lactic acid makes the muscle feel sore. Too much build up can lead to decreased range of motion, twitching, muscle spasms, cramping and headaches.
During our session the goal is to release the build up of lactic acid in your muscles. You should feel less tension and stress in your muscles within 24-48 hours following your appointment.
