WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Dana Gonzales

"I’ve been receiving treatment with Jennifer for nearly a year now, along with my husband, and it has made a meaningful difference for both of us. After a fall from a horse and multiple surgeries, I was dealing with scar tissue, discomfort, and limited mobility.

Jennifer’s care has been thoughtful and well-rounded, not only addressing these issues during sessions but also guiding me on how to support my healing at home using tools like the Dolphin Neurostim, pulsed electromagnetic frequency, and topical care on my arm and hands because I love to knit.

Over time, I’ve experienced less pain, improved range of motion, and the ability to take on more day-to-day activities. I’m very grateful to have access to this kind of treatment and would happily recommend her to others."

"Pull up a chair, grab a drink…let’s talk. 🫶🏼

For years I’ve suffered with intense occipital pain —

Debilitating pain at the base of my skull that travels into my jaw, radiates  behind my eyes, down my shoulders and settles into my traps…debilitating!

Weekly chiropractor visits, ER trips for migraine cocktails, strong muscle relaxers, stretches, strengthening, decompression, traditional massages… they were all just temporary relief. Nothing ever seemed to reach the deeper tension my body had been holding.

Yesterday…yesterday it all changed.
I had a somatic/myofascial session that works with the nervous system and fascia in the body. What makes this type of work different is that it isn’t focused on forcing muscles to relax. It focuses on helping the nervous system feel safe enough to release what it’s been holding.

Instead of deep pressure or typical massage techniques, the therapist used very light pressure and gently held specific areas of the body. This communicates with the nervous system and the fascia — the connective tissue that surrounds everything in the body.

At three different points my body completely released. My eyes uncontrollable started twitching and then the crying came. And I mean crying! It wasn’t sadness…it was beautiful. As I cried, I could literally feel things leaving my body that had been stuck for years.

This isn’t “woo woo” or crazy. This is our body — the beautiful, complex body God designed that is so much more than just skin on top of bones.

For a long time my body has been stuck in what’s called “fight or flight” mode — always bracing, always protecting. Yesterday felt like my nervous system finally got the message that it was safe enough to let go.

Sometimes healing isn’t just about working on the surface. Sometimes the body needs help getting to the root of what it has been holding onto for years.

Your body keeps count… even when we’re smiling and telling everyone we’re fine.

If you can relate to this… I know that place. I’ve been there too.
Please do this for yourself.
This life is beautiful, and we’re meant to live it healthy and free.

“For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,” declares the Lord.

I met Jennifer in 2008.  Her care has been an important part of my long-term wellness routine. With my background in the natural foods industry and my focus on an alkaline, holistic lifestyle, I value approaches that support the body in a balanced and preventative way.

I’ve made it a point to see her regularly as part of maintaining homeostasis and supporting overall vitality. Her work helps encourage circulation through the joints, nourish the muscles, and keep my body functioning optimally.

I also appreciate the shared understanding we have when it comes to nutrition and homeopathy. Our sessions are not only beneficial physically, but also provide an opportunity to exchange knowledge and stay aligned in a holistic approach to health.

Jennifer’s care has been a consistent and trusted part of how I maintain my well-being, and I would confidently recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, preventative approach to health.

Neuromuscular Massage Therapy is a specialized, results-driven form of soft tissue treatment designed to identify and correct the underlying causes of both acute and chronic pain involving the muscular and nervous systems.

Rather than masking symptoms, this clinical approach addresses trigger points, fascial restrictions, nerve compression, muscular imbalances, and postural dysfunction that contribute to persistent discomfort. It is highly effective for injury recovery, including auto accidents, work-related strain, sports injuries, military-related overuse, and the cumulative stress patterns that build from prolonged sitting, cell phone use, and computer work.

By restoring proper circulation and improving nerve communication, neuromuscular therapy helps reduce inflammation, improve range of motion, and retrain dysfunctional movement patterns. The goal is not temporary relief — but structural correction and functional stability.

In addition to corrective work, sessions may incorporate restorative Swedish techniques to calm the nervous system, reduce stress hormone load, and support full-body relaxation.

This blended approach allows the body to both release restriction and shift into a parasympathetic healing state.

Whether you are recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, or simply feeling the physical effects of modern life, this integrative treatment approach supports long-term resilience, balance, and renewed comfort in your body.

WHERE DOES THE PAIN COME FROM?

THE PAIN YOU FEEL CAN BE EXPLAINED WHETHER PHYSICAL, BIOLOGICAL, EMOTIONAL OR NEUROLOGICAL IN MANY CASES.

When muscles are not receiving adequate blood flow, they are also not receiving optimal oxygen delivery.

When oxygen levels drop, muscle tissue shifts into a less efficient metabolic state.

This can contribute to the accumulation of metabolic byproducts, including lactate, which may be associated with soreness, stiffness, reduced range of motion, twitching, cramping, and tension-related headaches.

During your session, our goal is to restore healthy circulation, reduce fascial restrictions, and support the body’s natural ability to clear metabolic waste.

As blood flow improves, tissues receive more oxygen and nutrients, helping them return to proper function.

Most clients notice decreased tension and improved mobility within 24–48 hours following their appointment — especially when they follow their self-care plan and stay well hydrated.
